Welcome
A warm welcome to Lah Lah Banana.
This blog shares reviews, ideas, and resources we’ve discovered to encourage a love for Chinese literacy with my three kids. It is mainly targeted at families in Singapore who want their children to be bilingual in Mandarin; it’s written for families where English is the dominant or only home language (as it is with ours).
All reviews are based on our family’s honest personal experience of raising bilingual children as monolingual parents. I’m not affiliated with any businesses, and I’m not trying to sell anything, nor do I earn anything from this blog. I just want to help others. And if it helps you, I’m overjoyed.
If this is your first visit, the list here contains the main resources we have used to get to fluency.
Thanks for landing here and journeying with me.
